Vandyke Brown – Schmincke Watercolor Paint, Vandyke Brown, is a greenish alternative to sepia brown. Originally extracted form finely elutriated lignite, but too uncertain, therefore replaced by a lightfast pigment mixture. This paint comes in a 15 ml. tube.
