The Rustic Creations Hammered Espresso Frame is handmade with hardwood for framing art with a traditional vibe. An excellent complement to watercolor landscapes, these frames have light distressing and sturdy edge details with a warm-toned wood finish. These are perfectly suited to match many styles of design and home decorating.

Use these to frame canvas or add a mat and glass (sold separately) for works on paper.

Rabbet Depth – The rabbet is the recess on the back inside edge of the frame, into which the artwork fits. To find a frame that works for you, measure the depth of your artwork, including any matting or mounting materials, and order a frame with a rabbet depth that is at least the same as that measured depth.

Note – Frames are sized by the opening, not by the outside of the molding. To determine the size of frame to order, measure the outside of your artwork, including the mat, and order that size frame. The frame will overlap your artwork about a quarter inch around, so your artwork will fit securely behind the frame’s molding.
