Ivory Black – Schmincke Watercolor Paint, Ivory Black, is a very deep black. Formerly made from carbonized ivory, nowadays produced by dry destillation of degreased bones. Small quantities of calcium phosphate add slightly grey-bluish tone. This paint comes in a 15 ml. tube.
