Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache has been produced since 1935 and to this day they continue to provide the finest artists’ gouache range available. Mainly used by designers, illustrators and commercial artists to create vibrant illustrations in solid color, gouache is also widely used in fine art as an opaque watercolor.

Sepia – Sepia is a black brown, highly permanent color and originally was made in the 18th century from the ink sacks of cuttlefish. This dark brown is now made from a mixture of carbon and umber.
